One of the icons of my Mom's era, and one of her favorite actresses. Any time there was any Liz Taylor news, Mom would be on it, know about it and talk about it. I remember Mom buying "movie magazines", earlier versions of the scandal papers you see at the supermarket checkout lane, and also getting most excited if Taylor was on the cover. Mom just recently was talking about Elizabeth Taylor's illness. She'll be saddened by the news...
