Some thoughts on the C.S. Lewis classic "Mere Christianity”

I'm reposting this since the original posting was deleted by the original poster (I may have more on that unfortunate occurrence later, no time right now). The original URL was http://www.skepticaleye.com/2011/03/cs-lewis-fails-part-4.html and the cache of that page is here. My apologies to SE readers for the inconvenience.

Any thoughts on C.S. Lewis as an apologist for Christianity and theism?

  1. He's the best apologist for Christianity, for an audience of existential thinkers.

Peter Kreeft is pretty good too, he seems to have based his apologies on Lewis's work and bent them a bit to fit a Roman Catholic audience.

The Screwtape Letters is a very funny look at the forces at play in one's psyche.
