Facebook Fueling Eating Disorders

Teenage girls using Facebook are more likely to develop eating disorders than those who avoid the social network. That’s the finding of a study by the University of Haifa in Israel. Researchers say heavy Facebook use causes girls to compare themselves with profiles of other users, often leading to lower self-esteem.
