There would be more research on the matter if the NRA didn't lobby to end government funded studies that were repeatedly finding that more guns equals more guns deaths and more crime.

It sucks when observing reality doesn't validate your pre-conceived notions, but it's not that hard to just change your mind... or last it shouldn't be.
