Question of the Night: Would You Want A New Nuclear Power Plant Built Near Your Home?

Tonight begins our new nightmare series, Question of the Night, because when you ask questions late at night, it can be really scary stuff. My girlfriend is a Buddhist, and has been quite upset about what's happening in Japan, even praying every day for the people there. When the latest news came through about workers being forced to stop work at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant due to high radiation levels, her response was simply "That's scary".

I know I wouldn't want to live right next door to a GE designed plant, I'll tell ya that right now, and I know many Americans already live within just miles of nuclear power facilities. But, would you welcome a plant in your neck of the woods?

    I guess, if I had a house built out of sheet lead :)
