The Hemp Remedy

I’ve been an advocate for industrial hemp for years but I had no idea that extracting radioactive contaminants from soil was among its many potential uses. For those of you that don’t know, here’s a little laundry list of hemp’s uses:

Food (with no pesticides needed)

Ethanol (Production is 8x more efficient than corn-ethanol)

Fuel Pellets (Clean renewable heating resource, Better than wood)

Fabrics (More durable than Cotton, No need for pesticides)

Rope (Durable and cheap, Nylon Rope is a petroleum product)

Plastics (Cheap, Not petroleum-based)

Paper (Cheaper, more renewable than wood-pulp)

Construction Materials (Cheap, clean, and Renewable)

Phytoextraction of radioactive elements!!!
