Oh, The Things Rand Paul Says...

Rand Paul has a unique solution for the immigration “problem.” He doesn’t like the idea of a border fence, since it’s expensive and it’s vaguely Berlin-esque. I applaud him on that. But Rand proves that some people were never meant to think outside the box, especially if you have enough bong resin in your head to bake a batch of potent brownies.

In Rand’s words:

Where I disagree, maybe with some people on the immigration issue, I don't like the symbolism of a 15 foot fence going the whole border. It's extraordinarily expensive, and it reminds me of the Berlin Wall which was built to keep people in and from fleeing to the west. I think you could actually put an electronic fence under the whole for border for $10 or $15 million, which sounds like a lot to us but that's peanuts.

At this point, I’m wondering how much it will cost to issue shock collars to every Mexican. Luckily, this isn’t the end of his plan.

And you could probably have helicopter stations in maybe five different locations, and I think you could have any breach of the border could be stopped at any point and we send them back.

Helicopter abduction squads… classy use of federal power. Wouldn’t it be easier to just eliminate government regulation of immigration, like we had for over a century until racist quota laws were instituted in the 20th century?

And this has been… “Oh, The Things Rand Paul Says...”

  2. DM doesn't know the difference between Rand Paul and Obama... I don't know if that makes him the least racist person ever, or just the dumbest (leaning towards the latter).

  3. I can't believe there are still self-proclaimed "libertarians" who support this nut.

  4. Don't you see? He's Ron Paul's son, and everyone knows political power ought to pass from parents to their children, that's how it's supposed to work. Whether you're a Bush, Clinton or Paul, remember: keep it in the family.
