Why Big Bankers and Corporations Love Obama

The Revolution: A Manifesto

  1. Yeah, I'm sure they'd hate Ron Paul and his laissez-faire anarcho-capitalism. It takes a shill to know a shill, I suppose.

  2. Either way, Obama is the one who claims to be for the little man by virtue of his ideology. What Ron Paul is pointing out is that he is not and that Socialists and communists are nothing more than power-grabbing hypocrites, like just about every other ideology in human history.

  3. Considering that Ron Paul wants to end the Fed, I doubt that the big banks would really prefer his brand of libertarianism. The same goes in general for big corporations, who have a too cozy relationship with big government. They might like a little less regulation in some areas, but overall are far more comfortable with the status quo than they would be with the radical change that would result from the policies of a Ron Paul.

  4. None of those address the fact that corporations are so wealthy and so politically unfettered that they have bought politicians.

Also, Ron Paul is a religious asshole. He can shove his Christian righteousness up his ass, and judging by what a ignorant, spoiled brat his son is, I question his leadership ability. [End ad hominem attack.]

  5. Well then politicians are weak, useless, corruptible douches if they let themselves be pushed around. It's Ancient Rome all over...always been that way.

  6. Our Supreme Court ruled that corporate contributions constitute "free speech."

Corruption is sanctioned. Without regulation, nothing works well, least of all government. We actually can elect people who do legislate restrictions on bribery disguised as "lobbying," we just aren't doing it because the right of the country thinks companies should be able to buy politicians, while the left half has one testicle communally shared among the several million of them, and usually Bill Clinton has it.

  7. Bret, you don't think that the (fake) "left" is any less in favor of "corporate whore money" than the (fake) "right" do you?

Obama and the Demopublicans are just as in deep with the money as the Republicrats. They are all whores that need a tall tree and short rope.

The basic problem is "corporate personhood" that shields the worst of the oligarchy from even basic responsibility.

And as many from the "right" are closeted homosexuals I bet they share lots of testicle themselves...

  8. So, essentially, the left are disorganized half-pussies is what you're saying, Ginx?

  9. Look at the Supreme Court vote: the conservatives went in favor, the leftists opposed it.

Half pussies? Oh no, they're all pussy.

  10. You'll find more about who sided how here, and you might notice the Obama appointed justice opposed corporate personhood.
