Comparing 21st century China with the 19th century Industrial Revolution is a crock of shit that infuriates me. You can't just say "China has the same conditions as this x-economy from 1844." TWO DIFFERENT sets of circumstances. On the surface, yes, wow, it's the same but we had a chance to evolve over 200 years - they're JUST STARTING their capitalist venture.
One would have to consider that China will evolve (labour codes, laws etc.) as we did. In other words, come see me in 50-75 years. If I'm alive. Which I doubt.
