Accused of Burning the Mexican Flag

  1. I imagine they'd be liable for the same public fire ordinances as burning an American flag, or a picture of Bin Laden, or anything. I can understand why California is against conflagration in general, what with all the wild fires. However, I think due prudence would dictate that a public protest not conducted in an area of dry brush should be an exception. I hope their first amendment right is successfully defended.
