Is YouTube Becoming Mediocre?

Yeah, it's getting so bad that people who make videos aren't even bothering to put a shirt on anymore. As for what's new, well, a long time ago there was this guy who pointed out that there is nothing new under the Sun...

  1. There was bound to be an early peak in YouTube's quality. You have to figure there were decades of videos sitting around, unshared with others, just collecting dust. Then YouTube comes along and allows them to be shared. Once that pool is exhausted, we're left with only new stuff and the occassional forgotten gem, but never on the same scale as the first years.

Okay, too much time on the procrasternet, not enough time unpacking. God I hate books... why do PhD's own so many?!
