The Beatles "rooftop concert" was a compromise, the end of the failed Let It Be (Get Back) project (a live album of new material and a documentary about its creation, ending with a concert or even a new tour). The concert never happened, but to end the film, they performed for 42 minutes on the roof of Apple Studios in London.

If there is a God... it addresses the God/omnipotence/suffering conundrum better than anything I've ever come across.

Too much stuff? Yeah, I went overboard on this one. Maybe this will be the last Just Some Stuff, unless popular demand dictates otherwise. I'm kind of tired of these posts.

I don't believe any theodicy works, so all attempts to address the "conundrum" fail, I think. Leaps of faith are all that are left, and I simply can't jump that far.
