Obama's Backbone

This guy thinks Obama's backbone is an egg noodle. Really?

One commenter is much closer to the truth about the Messiah:

Obama has a strong backbone. He stood firm in supporting the Republican agenda when he was a Senator. He stood firm in expanding the Republican wars based on lies and increasing the Republican bailouts as President. He does not allow public opinion to influence his decisions. He is one of the strongest representatives that the Republicans have ever had in our government.

...

Of course it isn’t really the Republican agenda or the Democratic agenda. It is the corporate and military-industrial agenda. It is set by policy-making bodies, like the Bilderburgers, Trilateral Commission, Council on Foreign Relations, and others, and both political parties have to follow those policy decisions or forfeit the big donations that they need in order to compete with each other for big donations.

The problem is that we don’t have a democratic form of government in the US. Voters have no say on issues or budgets or other policy matters, and declare themselves incompetent by delegating their power to unaccountable officials to manage their affairs for them. When these officials steal from them, they find they have no power to stop it, so they wait for the next election and vote for different officials who will also steal from the and who also can’t be held accountable

Okay, so we all know (or should, if we've any sense about us) that Western "liberal" democracy is a crock of shit. It is only designed to give the illusion of control by the people, when the oligarchy is really in charge and calling all the important shots.
