In a democracy, we only get the leaders we deserve. We're clearly too corrupt and stupid to do better right now, but every election is an opportunity to make progress if you take the standpoint that you need to vote for someone you want to lead, not a vote against whoever you've been convinced is the worst choice.
You have to vote for people. There is no against vote (yet). Until the veto vote becomes an option, you are better off not voting than simply voting for some crazy person who has no idea what he's doing simply because he isn't a [insert whichever bias suits you].
