Do We Really Need Traffic Lights?

Accidents and waiting times drop when you get rid of traffic lights and stop signs. Well, I'm not surprised. I know it would make more sense than waiting at an empty intersection for the light to change. It's hilarious to watch people behave like trained monkeys, waiting for a green light early in the morning on a Saturday when there isn't another car in sight in any direction, but the light is red, so the good little government-owned zombies sit there until the little light turns green. Hahahahahahahahahahahah!

Yes, we're taught that the state will protect us, so when that light does turn green, it must be safe to proceed, only the advice to wait a few seconds after the light changes before entering the intersection has proven to be good too many times to count.
