Senate Passes the Health Care Bill
The New York Times has plenty to say about this, but I don't. It's infuriating, but not surprising. Now all there really is to do is wait for Congress to vote on this version of the bill. But you trust your government to do the right thing...right?

I don't trust the Republicans...
Do you have anything again making it illegal for insurance companies to drop you? There's plenty of provisions in the bill that are decades overdue, and my main problem is that it doesn't do enough (thanks Lieberman, you fucking droopy-faced douchebag).
Over half of bankruptcy filings in America are due to catestrophic health care bills. None of those would occur if we had socialized medicine, and this bill is kilometers (I mean miles) away from that.
