It's really futile to argue with someone who refuses to acknowledge the possibility that experts in their field will understand things better than others. To the denialist, they aren't experts; they're just accomplices to a grander conspiracy.
Of course! Anybody who dissents can just be dismissed as a "denialist" because the experts have spoken. Never mind that "experts" aren't always right, and that there are genuine (not amateur) experts on the other side.
