A libertarian form of communism?
Posted by

I'll give credit where credit is due: these commies are at least practicing their communism in a libertarian fashion.
Still, there's something a little creepy/Mormonish/David Koresh-ish about it..

Two reasons it works:
ReplyDelete- People can leave
- People can be exiled
I'm not sure how a national system would handle those two, but it's nice a small community can choose to try this out. Maybe it's just doomed on a large scale.
As long as there's no state and nobody can force me I don't care if people practice religion, communism or force their wives to wear veils and beat them. I have enough problems of my own to worry about; I don't need someone else's.
ReplyDeleteIn a free market/libertarian society anything goes as long as people don't mess with eachtoher or force rules and ways of life upon them (without consent).
Ginx: The reason why this communist society works is not because of the scale (though it helps) but because everyone there is there by consent. They want to be commies.
