Question of the Day: What's Your Favorite Beer?

Okay, yesterday I experimented with a simple question post: What's Your Favorite Cheese? (and by the way, there's still time to get us to those 100 comments). So, I thought we'd make it a daily feature. It won't always be about your favorites, but since beer is a popular drink, why not go there? Suggestions for future daily questions may be included in your comment as well (or send them to us through our contact page) but please answer today's daily question in your comment. Thanks (and lets get to those 100 comments someday!)

  1. Guess I'll have to be the one to get this started.

Whatever beer I can afford to buy with the change in my pocket.

  2. Fortunately, I don't like beer and couldn't afford mixed drinks so I've stayed sober most of my life. One beer I hate is Budweiser. I don't even have to drink my two limit. One is enough to give me a godawful headache. My brother and his friends used to drink Bud even though it made them sick. It was probably the only beer they could afford at the time. I used to be able to drink a couple of Coors with no side effects, but it's been so long since I've had a beer they may have changed their process.

  3. I wish I could add something... my wife likes Magic Hat #9 and Yuengling, but I don't drink.

  4. "...but I don't drink."

    Coulda fooled me.

    Seriously folks...

Nowhere near a beer expert (I personally prefer wine) but up here, I like Quebec microbreweries. Very good stuff. Also Sleemans and Alexander Keiths.

In the U.S. beers I like Brooklyn, Sam Adams and Rogue. Watching sports Coors light goes nice with pizza sometimes.

And of course, then come the Kilkenny's, Stout and Stella Artois of this world. Too many European beers to name.

But if I had to choose, stout on tap. Love it. Cream ale's like Kilkenny are also enjoyable.

Last, if I'm in a Chinese, Japanese or even Italian restaurant, I'll go for the native beer.
