Workers at Water Plant Film Fluoride Toxicity

The public worries about other toxic products coming from China, but willing ingests who knows what from that same toxic source, in their drinking water.

Workers at a US water treatment works were amazed and disgusted at what they were expected to mix in to the domestic tap water supply in their region. So much so they refused to add it and released footage of it.

  1. I gotta ask, since you always pick on fluoride: how do you feel about chlorinating water? I'm mroe than happy to say fluoridating water is not worth the benefit compared to the risk (brushing your teeth is much more effective and safe), but chrolinating it has saved many people from water-borne disease.

On another note... isn't it hilarious that the one post pertaining to pornography is always the one with the most traffic? It's the same on my blog; most of my search traffic comes from people searching "missionary position" and finding a post I did that included a chart with sexual positions.

It has a real purpose in making municipal water supplies safe, but fluoride serves no such purpose. "Preventing tooth decay" should not be part of the mission of the water system, any more than adding a weight loss drug to the water supply to fight the obesity "epidemic" would be.

If people want to drink fluoride, more power to them; just buy your own fluoridated water. don't force it on everyone.

Lupe saved Skeptical Eye? Obviously, to take this blog to the big time, we need more porn themed posts.

  4. I wouldn't oppose something that helped teeth if it didn't have negative health effects (for example, adding minute amounts of calcium, which is already present in most water naturally).

Porn themed posts... I'm on it.
