He says "what is that thing that we're afraid of that we want to have a gun in the house", then he mentions home invasions, and says that only 500 or 600 home invasions occur each year in the United States. He mentions areas where everyone has a gun, and there is a low murder rate, apparently not seeing the connection (in his blind "liberal" hatred for liberty) between the high gun ownership, and the low murder rate. Why is he so afraid of guns, if statistically very few are killed by them, and violent crime is lower in the places with the most guns?
Home invasions, by the way, occur in much higher numbers in places like Britain, with restrictive gun laws. Maybe only 500 or so home invasions happen because the violent criminals know that 50% of U.S. homes have a gun inside? Hey, simply logic! Too complex for the fake "liberal" mind, though.
I have to check up the stats, but home invasions in Montreal are up significantly.

ReplyDeleteBritain has a higher rate of violent crime per 100,000 people than the U.S. (it's actually 4 times as high). Of course that includes more than just homicide, but it's very telling. Take away guns and the criminals rule the streets.
