Olbermann gets shafted

I always liked Olbermann and how he gave Bush the retarded a deep shafting over his BS, I was severly dissapointed every time he had the chance with a liberal or progressive to give them the same shafting - but you can never get everything you want...

Olbermann suspended for Dem contributions.

Keith Olbermann, MSNBC's primetime firebrand host, has been suspended indefinitely for violating the ethics policies of his employer earlier this year when he donated to three Democrats seeking federal office, MSNBC announced Friday.

"I became aware of Keith's political contributions late last night. Mindful of NBC News policy and standards, I have suspended him indefinitely without pay," MSNBC President Phil Griffin said in a statement.

Someone pulled a big cord over at MSNBC.

The contributions may have violated an NBC policy that requires employers of the news organization to obtain permission ahead of any political donations or activities that could be deemed as a conflict of interest. CNN institutes a similar policy.

Personally I would never sign a contract that had stipulations like the above NBC/MSNBC is smoking crack with this crap.

First reported by Politico and confirmed by Federal Election Commission filings, the primetime television host gave $2,400 – the maximum individual amount allowed – to each of the campaigns of Kentucky Senate candidate Jack Conway, and Arizona Reps. Raul Grijalva and Gabrielle Giffords.

Telling, but no reason to dump Olbermann - is anyone actually surprised by his choices?

Just for contrast Bill O'Reilly was never fired for his “sex calls” or "offensive touching” but Olbermann is dumped for contributing to a few political whores.

Next time Keith, if you give money to whores make sure you get a great BJ getting fired for whores without any reward is just silly...

  1. Don't you get it, he had an opinion, of course he's going to get punished. MSNBC wouldn't want a reputation of being biased...

If he gets the ax, maybe Fox News will hire him.

  2. MSNBC is just as biased as any other MSM outlet, there is something more to this, it will take days or weeks to figure out what is up...

Should be interesting, I can stomach MSNBC for short times, I cannot watch Fox without bitching instantly...

  3. Some of the commercials on MSNBC aren't too bad. Although that one with where they play Sarah Mclachlan music and show abused animals. I haven't cried that hard since I saw the opening to "Up."
