Question of the Day: Do You Think The U.S. Government Will Impose Martial Law?

What if there are riots over rising prices and lack of decent jobs? Wall Street and the Banksters profit (and get bailed out) while Main Street suffers and is allowed to go under. Is the criminal regime currently in control of the US Empire ready to go to martial law in order to maintain their power?

    I'm fairly certain it won't come to that under Obama, though that wasn't the question asked. If it somehow did, I still think it wouldn't even be up to Obama, but rather at the discretion of governors, with Obama fulfilling most requests made for additional military presence. So the short answer is "yes," but since most people who would revolt see themselves as Obama supporters, I don't think it will be an issue, and I suspect that only riots in the DC area itself would be directly dealt with by the president.

    I'm curious who it is people think would revolt... certainly not the geriatric Tea Baggers.
