I may not have an actual paying job--I graduated from college just last year--but I'm doing three marketing internships at once (they're all part time). My resume's going to look friggin' sweet. And the economy isn't going to recover any time soon anyway.
I just hope the state doesn't succeed in its ridiculous plan to crack down on internships, or I'm kind of SOL.
Unpaid internships are a scam. They're just slavery posing as indentured servitude. Hopefully you get a paycheck.

ReplyDeleteHowever, none of these internships are at for-profit companies, and I'm not doing bitch work (like getting people coffee) or anything close.
