Gang of Thieves Day is here in America. On my own returns, because I took one extra exemption just to have the few dollars extra I need each month to pay the bills (we are NOT talking luxuries here) I found out I "owed" both the Federal and state parasites hundreds of dollars. I'll have to cut back on food and be late on my rent next month just to pay income taxes.
Let me emphasize that I'm a lowly wage slave, toiling for an hourly wage that is probably far less than yours (unless you work for Walmart or McDonald's as a wage slave) and barely scraping by. I don't drive a new car (mine is over 10 years old and beginning to fall apart) and I don't own a home. I have no savings and live basically paycheck to paycheck. My girlfriend is in school and will hopefully graduate soon and begin working, so some relief is on the way, but every day is a real struggle. I consider myself poor, and based on my circumstances, I think that is an objectively verifiable designation.
Yet I have an extra burden (not even including the Social "Security" taxes that are siphoned off from my paychecks) I cannot afford, thanks to all of you pro-state trolls who just can't get enough of Big Daddy GUNvernment. It's impossible to get ahead when the parasites keep sucking the life out of your body. The state chokes off the private sector every time it takes money that would be spent or invested in private areas of the economy. That's why we're in the mess we're in, and why we won't see real improvement until the parasites get their comeuppance, which is likely if economic collapse sparks a revolution, hopefully at this point in the direction of secession movements in various states (Texas, here I come).
above video via The Whited Sepulchre, though contrary to the W.S., I'm against a flat tax (see The Flat Tax Is Not Flat and the FairTax Is Not Fair and Flat Tax Folly by Laurence M. Vance).
At the end of the following video, Ron Paul says that instead of the wasteful "stimulus" and bailouts, the Federal government could have saved money by suspending the income tax and just letting people stimulate the economy themselves, but of course, that would take the control away from the Washington bloodsuckers, and controlling the common people and keeping the elites in power is what it's really all about.
A recent poll shows a large majority think we are overtaxed. Maybe it's time we stopped giving our "consent" to the gang that thinks a good chunk of North America (and the world, with their imperial foreign policy) is their "territory".
How do 545 people—a president, 535 congressmen, and nine judges—control a nation of over 300 million people? Certainly not by physical force. Could 545 gangsters gain control of the country by suddenly announcing that they are the legitimate government deserving of your allegiance? Obviously not, because you would not choose to grant them power over you. This example shows that the source of federal power—not right, but power—is the people’s own “consent” to be governed. The American people hold the keys to their own jail cells between their ears and can leave the prison of tyranny any time a sufficient number of them choose to be free.
So, the first thing you have to do is withdraw that “consent” and make that known whenever possible. History shows that regimes fall when the masses withdraw their “consent.” I am not urging you to do anything illegal or violent, just come to the realization that you will no longer give any moral sanction or support to the corrupt kleptocracy on the Potomac. A journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step. This is the critical first step from which all else follows.
You need to withdraw your support for the corrupt regime the federal government has become. That is easy. Just stop. Stop voting for those degenerates and don’t vote for their opponents either unless they are Patriots. Stop being silent when people talk about politics. State your opinion clearly. Tell people you’ve joined the Second American Revolution and urge them to do so as well.-It’s Yours If You Want It (To Honor Tax Slavery Day)
Ah, pretend-it-isn't-theft day. One of the most reprehensible days of the year, after Memorial Day and Flag Day.

ReplyDeleteAnd as you so eloquently point out above... apathy is our enemy. The revolution can only survive so long as people have the ability to care.
