More stupid teabagging.

The whole Tea Party thing apparently was happening again. Not that any one cares, I wrote about this last time and it hasn't got any better yet.

Getting together which a bunch of other Republican sheeple and spouting right wing talking points is nothing like the Boston Tea Party you fucking useless dicks.

If these people were forming a big mob to go up against big government and do some property damage, identifying an enemy that is supporting this policy and trashing their stuff, then they could compare themselves to the Sons of Liberty. As it stands they are just Republican pawns making themselves look like irrelevant assholes.

  1. I can't take these little neocon rallies seriously either. Way too Republicanish. If they complain about spending now, it's only because their guys aren't in power.

  2. True, but we shouldn't forget that Ron Paul supporters began the Tea Parties in '07.

There are plenty of Fox zombies there I'm sure. There were also large numbers of socialist peaceniks present at anti-war rallies in the previous 8 years - does that mean the anti-war rallies were a bad thing?

I would argue that, if lots of brainwashed right wingers are there, great! Others will talk about, for example, the Federal Reserve and maybe get them to use their brains for the first time ever. It is overall a good thing.

  3. I truly respect Ron Paul, but calling them "tea parties" is just political sloganeering of the lowest order. Trying to draw capital off of the acts of brave men who did heroic things is dishonest unless you are emulating them. And I don't see the teabaggers dressing up as Indians and breaking things. If they were they could count me in.

Also the whole idea of the tea party is kind of useless if you don't have a clear objective and enemy. If it were about bailouts and they wanted to trash the property of the bankers who trashed the market and stuck their hands out then yeah I'm there but if it is about socialized medicine, who's stuff do you break? Not the government because that would be more shit we have to pay for.

Socialized medicine, if you really want to protest it, is not a tea party sort of problem, it is a declaration of independence sort of problem. Of course the Sons of Liberty were involved in that also. I doubt Republican mouthpieces are interested in that sort of protest either.
