I became a Raiders fan quite by accident. When I was about 11 or 12, I was given the chance to pick out a NFL jacket. I chose a Raiders one because I liked the silver and black colors. Been an on and off fan ever since. A few years ago I gave away my special miniature Raiders cup. It was tiny and non-functional, strictly decorative. I kept it at my desk at work. When the company later collapsed and we all lost our jobs, I gave it away as a gift to an even bigger Raiders fan than me, though truth be told, she was only a fan because her boyfriend was from Oakland...
