Why did the West glorify Gaddafi's death?

"We came, we saw, he died"-U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton

The United Nations human rights office has now called for a "full investigation" into how Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi was killed.

However it seems to accept without question the targeted assassinations and indiscriminate drone attacks carried out by the USA against its perceived enemies, even as in the case of Imam Anwar Awlaki, when it's against their own citizens.

Hillary Clinton said of Libya and Gaddafi: "We came, we saw, he died."
It's a takeoff on Julius Caesar's "Veni, vidi, vici," or "I came, I saw, I conquered."

Do I really have to comment on what this means about her, her morality, or that of the highest U.S. government officials? Do I have to comment on the relation to Caesar that she draws? Is it necessary to point out that "We" is the U.S. government and that it takes responsibility for unseating Gaddafi and killing him? The rebels didn't arise. No, the U.S. came. In its wisdom, it saw. It then killed.-The Real Hillary Clinton Revealed
