More proof that the local news media (just about anywhere) focuses on and gets riled up over irrelevancies while completely ignoring the real government and police abuse that occurs daily. This story is ridiculous, and the seriousness with which the reporter with the 60 Minutes "gotcha" routine takes it is evidence of the worthlessness of a journalism degree (or a college degree in general, which we can pretty safely assume the idiot has).
I'm of two minds on this, however. "Let 'em go", sure, but wait, not so fast. How often do the parking enforcement cops (revenue collectors for the local government mafia) "let 'em go" when writing those expensive and uncalled for tickets? Hmm...on second thought, HANG 'EM HIGH!
