Ana Kasparian of The Young Turks reports on medical marijuana dispensaries in California claiming that American Express no longer allows customers to use their cards on marijuana. She also shares AmEx's response.
When I did the same thing Anna Kasparian did, a "Mrs. Valenzuela" in Customer Advocacy claimed I was the "first person to complain about this." More lies from Amex. It's obvious some political and economic pressure was brought to bear against Amex, perhaps from the liquor lobby, to force them to discriminate against the legal use of Medical Marijuana.
