They don't call them waiting rooms for nothing! What I don't understand is that they know you may be sitting there for hours-why don't they make them more comfortable? A few recliners, a big screen TV, maybe some live entertainment. I would even enjoy waitresses with cold drinks and possibly relaxing back massages- from thing # 974 (Doctor waiting rooms)
Actually, though I've been in some waiting rooms with television, it's usually an ancient model from the 70s or 80s, not an big screen HDTV or anything. Same with comfortable chairs. There are some with a couple of comfy plush chairs, but they're always taken by some old person or a kid who has their filthy shoes all over the upholstery. No recliners that I've ever seen, though.
