Religious lunatics release DVD series condemning environmentalism

And it's 12 discs long! Looks like one piece of overlong fiction (the Bible) wasn't enough. Maybe John Shimkus will show up in an interview?

I don't know about you, but I prefer to get my science from Focus on the Family, the Family Research Council, and the American Family Association. You just can't trust those evil secular scientists with their fancy sounding degrees and "radical" agendas.

  1. I may not believe what the fanatics are saying about environmentalist, in fact it's a bunch of crap, but to flat out say the Bible is fiction, is kind of on the same level as the religious fanatics you are berating. But I respect your right to your opinion. Just saying.

  2. The Bible is fiction. That isn't an opinion, it's a fact.

  3. Hey Elizabeth, I was actually going to write a comment sort of supporting you, but you know what, fuck you! For anyone who noticed, we just lost a "follower", down from 414 to 413 (yes, it was Elizabeth). Well, now you just lost one, too Ms. Asshole McKenzie, because I have stopped following you.

What is it about these religious people that any criticism causes them to react that way (it isn't all of you, I might add, but certainly it seems a majority). For the record I have never stopped visiting or following a blog because they had an opposing view or even attacked what I believe in.

Your actions belie your words ("But I respect your right to your opinion"), Elizabeth, you hypocrite.

I'm not gonna let you liars get away with it anymore. I don't usually make comments on people that stop following Skeptical Eye, but from now on, in addition to retaliating by no longer following you, I'm going to expose you here on SE.

  4. What's funny is that's one of the *least* provocative comments I've ever made on this blog. You'd have to be a real milquetoast to be offended by it.

The Bible is fiction. There may be some real history in parts, but the same can be said for the movie Titanic and every work of historical fiction.

  6. Religion deserves no respect - none...

First it it the burden of the religious to proof the texts loved so much - want some respect cough up some proof!

The current official “uppity negroes” are any “just a little too tan” mid-easterners who happen to follow islam. Of course Islam is batshit crazy but not any more batshit crazy than any other “fatith” based on absolutely no evidence.
