Where Is Harold Camping?

Reuters reported that his house in Alameda, CA is covered with shades and the Family Radio headquarters had a sign on its front door saying "The Office is Closed. Sorry we missed you!"

I don't know where the hell Camping is, but if it was me, I'd try to never show my face in public again. There was a rumor or hoax report that he already had plans to flee the country after May 21, but who knows.

With no sign of Judgment Day arriving on Saturday as forecast by an 89 year-old California evangelical broadcaster, followers were faced with trying to make sense of his failed pronouncement.

As hours tick by, "Judgment Day" looks a dud

What's to make sense of? If you had half a brain, you dimwits, you could have seen by Camping's own explanation of how he arrived at today's date that it was complete BS. It would have made more sense if you'd followed him based on his having some vision of direct revelation from Jesus. At least then you'd have the excuse that you thought he was a prophet of God and believed he was telling the truth. But when he gave you detailed outlines of how he came up with May 21, 2011, I mean, come on, you didn't have to be a rocket scientist or a math expert to see through it and tell it was nonsense.

"I do not understand why nothing has happened."-Camping follower Robert Fitzpatrick (who spent $140,000 of his own money, his life savings, on advertising the Judgment Day prophecy).

It's too much, just too damn much! The stupid, it burns!

  4. Thus, another reminder of the horrific consequences that religious belief can have. Those now broke, out of work, or have made life altering decisions based on religion's promise, show that religious is not always a harmless endeavor. Sadly, the believers beyond Harold Camping's cult will still cling to this faulty promise.

  5. Well im my mind any idiot that would give all their retirement dollars to Camping's BS deserves what they got. They should have been reading the Good Book instead of listening to an old man who is clearly a false prophet. The Bible clearly states that no one not even the angels not even the Son knows when the Lord will return, only the Father knows the date !! One things for sure, Hearld Camping is laughing while hualing all those donation to the bank !!

  8. Dear my friends, religion is not the problem...it is the misinterpretations of scripture. The Bible has something to say about this matter:

Many people over the past 2000 years have tried to predict when Jesus would come, but have all failed. Mark chapter 13 verse 32 says "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angles in heaven..." Also Matthew chapter 24 verse 34 says "Be ready! For the Son of Man[speaking of Jesus] is coming at and hour you do not expect." But, this does not mean that God will take away certain people without telling the rest of the world about it because in Revelation chapter 1 verse 7 it says that "every eye shall see Him[speaking about God when He returns to earth]!"

Luke chapter 21 verse 32 says "Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all things take place..." What are these "all things" that the bible is talking about? Well, they are things that have to take place before Jesus will return and the world ends. Many thing have already taken place and that means that we are in the end of time! One sign is in Matthew chapter 24 verses 4 and 5: "Make sure that no one deceives you. Many will come in My[Jesus is speaking here] name, saying, 'I am the Christ' and will deceive many." Is there people claiming to be the Christ or God? Yes! Many in fact, and many people believe them to be it as well! Another sign that Jesus predicted was that "You will hear of wars and rumors of wars..." Is there wars or rumors of wars happening or going to happen? Yes! Verse 11 says "Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many." Is there people who claim to be prophets appointed by God? Yes! In Matthew chapter 24 verse 7 it says: "For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places." Is there famines and earthquakes and all of that stuff in the day? Yes, of course! They are all over the News! If you search in the Bible, you will find many scriptures of signs that actually have already happened!

Now, there are a few things that have not happened yet: The Gospel preached to the whole world. A paraphrase of Matthew chapter 24 verse14 it is: And the gospel will be preached to the whole world; and once that has happened, the end will come.

JESUS IS COMING SOON and although we don't know when He will come, we must be ready as if He is coming tomorrow!
