Okay, I'm tuned in to Family Radio online. So far, I've heard a show about health, and other things unrelated to Judgment day. Right now there is just Christian music (hymns) playing. I'm wondering why they aren't devoting their schedule on this "last day" to live coverage of the worldwide calamity and rapture taking place today. Harold Camping himself said he'd be spending the day "...very near a TV or a radio or something. I'll be interested in what's happening on the other side of the world as this begins."
Well, why not have Family Radio give us the coverage with hosts sitting in live, maybe taking calls too? This is Judgment Day, isn't it? What's going on? Where is Harold Camping? Oh, right, he is going to get his "glorified body" today and rise into the sky to meet Jesus, but you can wait for that event while broadcasting on the radio, can't you?
Maybe he's engineering his own personal disappearance/retirement to a tropical island with no extradition treaty and no tax laws.
ReplyDeleteThough I am a Christian, I poke fun at this prediction and use it in a humorous manner. It really is a tragedy though. I don’t much feel sorry for the adults that choose to ruin their lives following such nonsense. However, the children that have no choice but to follow their parents are the real victims. I would suggest that they be turned over to DHS but I don’t have much faith in them either. I’ll be praying for those affected. I can only imagine the incidences of suicide and murder/suicide arising as a result of the teachings of this man. The hell-on-eath he has envisioned will come to fruition as his followers awaken to no money, jobs, medical insurance and in mnay instances; nowhere to live.
