I used to think teaching both sides of the evolution argument would nicely dispel creationist clap trap. As time went on I realized that creationists are great liars and persuasive brain-washers who do a good job of convincing kids that their teachers are wrong.
What the hell! If drug dealers can trump parents, educators, and heavy handed law enforcement to convince people to ingest shit despite draconian (and expensive) penalties, then why couldn't religious cranks convince people of bogus arguments? They do, and they have often done so for thousands of years come to think of it.
