More Republican Debate Questions

I’ve noticed that most of the “debate” questions have been tailored specifically to the candidates they are asking.  In any case, here are some more debate questions I would ask Republican candidates:

  • Should Iran obtain nuclear missiles and obliterate the nation of Israel, what would be your response?
  • Do you consider Israel an ally nation?
  • If Turkey, a NATO ally, were to invade Israel, what would be your response?
  • Should Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan recuse herself from hearing the Health Care Reform case due to her involvement in its passage?
  • Should Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas recuse himself from hearing the Health Care Reform case due to his wife’s involvement with a group to overturn it?
  • When should a Federal Court Judge, whether Federal or Inferior, recuse him or herself from cases?
  • Should Jesse Ventura have had his day in court with regards to his TSA case?
  • Does the TSA provide a necessary service to the airline companies and the people who utilize their services?
  • How many Supreme Court Justices should there be?
  • If a Justice retired or died while you are in office, would you replace him or her?
  • If a Justice retired or died while you are in office and you want to replace him or her, what kind of justice would you nominate?
  • Do you have any special requirements for a Supreme Court Justice?
  • What are your expected qualifications for a Supreme Court Justice?
  • Do you have any special requirements for a Inferior Court Justice?
  • What are your expected qualifications for a Inferior Court Justice?
  • Do you have any health issues that might prevent you from do your job as President?
  • Can you produce verifiable proof that you are a natural born United States citizen?
  • How many records are you willing to release for public scrutiny?
  • On average, how many nonfiction books do you read each month?
  • How often do you exercise?
  • Would you be willing to release your medical records to the public?
  • Have you ever taken an Intelligence Quotient test and if so, what were the results?
  • How do you obtain wisdom?
  • Is the Federal government too big, too inefficient, or just right?
  • Should Congress be allowed to engage in insider trading based on the laws they are passing or should they not be allowed to trade in the stock market while in office?
  • How does government grow an economy?
  • Which would be your top priority: growing the economy or shrinking the Federal government?

Frankly, it would be surprising if any of the media pundits asked anything remotely close to what I have listed here.  It has nothing to do with me being smarter than them (although pound for pound I can probably outdo many of them on any given day), but more to do with asking the right questions rather than the popular ones.  By the way, just because I consider myself smarter than most media pundits doesn’t mean I consider myself smarter than the average person.  It just means that they are dumber than the average man.

  1. All those supreme court questions, I don't see the uslefulness of those. They would just skirt around them, like always.

  2. They would probably skirt around all of them actually.
