David Silverman on "The Jesus-Eating Cult of Rick Santorum"

David Silverman, President of American Atheists, faces off against religious loon Sandy Rios (of the "Family Pac Federal") over Larry Doyle's satirical piece for HuffPo.

The too serious Rios (an insane God believer if ever I saw one -does theism drive people crazy?) states that Doyle's article can't be satire because it's not funny, which misses the point even if she's right, because it's about the intent of the author (I mean, come on, Sandy Thiestard, I've sat through "comedy" films where I never laughed once; were they not then comedies?), however, as it turns out, I laughed reading it, take this line, for example: Many of you will be shocked to learn what our possible future president believes, who he answers to, the bloody jihads his so-called church has carried on for centuries, and its current role as the tactical arm of the North American Man-Boy Love Association.

Sick Rantorum is a dangerous religious freak, and I don't care about the sensitivities of all the Sandy Rios in America combined into one big cRaZy person, because frankly, when have they ever worried about offending you?
