Singing the official tournament song for the World Cup has got Shakira feeling all sporty. The singer admits she never understood the appeal of soccer before, but now she can't get enough.
I don't think soccer (football) will ever be big as a spectator sport in the United States. I was surprised by the recent interest in the World Cup among my co-workers, but I guess now that the U.S. is out that will die down.
Maybe if Sharkira was singing and dancing at major U.S. soccer matches, that would change.
