He instead gives his robotic response, as if he's not really listening (which he isn't) and shows himself without a soul, and as the lifeless ruling class machine (and ready enforcer of the almighty Federal Government's anti-human, anti-liberty "laws") he is...

Contrast Mitt the Loser (here's hoping he goes down to defeat at the hands of that other evil statist, Barack Obama) with the real, the compassionate, the true human being and genuine lover of liberty and opponent of big government, Ron Paul.

We always hear in polling data that Congress has an extremely low approval rating (currently at 13%) but that people would re-elect their own congressman. Maybe that's about to change with a majority now stating they want ALL of them thrown out of office:

Interesting Analysis of Mitt "Ken Doll" Romney's Actual Nomination Prospects

...to win the nomination outright, Romney does not just have to win primaries/caucuses, he has to win MORE THAN FIFTY PERCENT of the delegates. Otherwise, he’ll end up in a brokered convention, in which anything could happen. Given that he didn’t even break 25% in Iowa, may not break 40% in New Hampshire, and is stuck around 30-35% in South Carolina, that’s may be a pretty tall order. The key numbers to look at are Romney’s vote percentages as compared to those of all the religious right candidates combined (i.e. Santorum, Gingrich, Perry, & Bachmann), since those four voting blocs will coalesce into one single anti-Romney bloc by the time Super Tuesday rolls around and the winner-take-all contests begin. And by that metric it doesn’t look good for Romney. He would have lost Iowa 25%-53%, would still win NH, but would lose South Carolina by double digits. Until he starts breaking 40% somewhere outside of NH, I’m going to remain highly skeptical of his chances at actually winning the nomination.-Mitt the Loser

Watched a few minutes of Sean Hannity's Fox "News" interviews of the Iowa Republican candidates last night. Caught some comments of two of the scariest loser clowns, Rick Santorum and Michele Bachmann. Santorum should be in a sanatorium for proposing thoughtlessly an unprovoked attack against Iran. This pro-death asswipe is supposed to be a Catholic? Sick! He was asked what he thought about Ron Paul calling him a liberal. His response (and I paraphrase) was that Ron Paul was from the "Dennis Kucinich foreign policy left-wing" of the Democratic Party, so how can Ron Paul call him a liberal? Well, maybe we should just quote Ron Paul to find out what he meant:

"He voted to double the size of the Department of Education. He voted to expand Medicare and add free drugs for senior citizens and he has voted for foreign aid. Those are not conservative principles. Seventy-seven percent of the American people are opposed to foreign aid and Rick Santorum has voted for it every time it's come down."-Ron Paul: Santorum is 'very liberal'

Sean Hannity the neocon fool just continued on after that without pursuing what exactly Ron Paul was talking about. As a militarist scumbag, Hannity really only considers someone "conservative" if they support a massive and bloated military budget and aggression all over the world. He seems not to care about much else, and doesn't seem to mind a candidate who is otherwise a big spender of your tax dollars. The irony is, even on defense and war and foreign policy, Ron Paul IS MORE conservative than anyone else running. You have to go back to before the conservative movement was taken over by neocon loons, but still...


And speaking of loons, Bachmann said Ron Paul would do nothing about Iran until Iran launched a nuclear weapon at the U.S. In other words, until Iran decided to commit suicide, for why else would they launch one warhead at America, the strongest military power on earth with a nuclear arsenal large enough to destroy Iran completely? Again, however, Hannity didn’t challenge this nonsense at all.


But Ron Paul, of course, is the one with loony, “fringe” ideas.

If you earn, say, $50,000 per year, you currently pay about 14.3% of your income in federal taxes. Under Cain's plan, you'll pay 23.8%. Whee! And if you make the big bucks? Well, millionaires currently pay about 32.9% of their income in federal taxes. Under Cain's plan, they'll pay 17.9%. Ka-ching!

Well, since Cain thinks if you're not rich or you're without a job, it's your fault, no wonder his pro big government plan helps out those worthy wealthy and takes even more from the undeserving non-rich earning a disgraceful working class income. But hey, don't get mad at Herman "Big Government" Cain. He's only trying to help you by pushing you to become rich so you'll pay less in taxes. Don't you get it? Herman Cain wants you to be rich (and it's easy, anyone can do it; after all, if you're not rich, you have no one to blame but yourself)!

The Media Blackout of Ron Paul

Of course the state-run media doesn't want to cover the only candidate that would bring real change to Washington. The statist shills that laughably call themselves "journalists" are instead quite happy giving coverage to the same old tired "conservative" and "liberal" candidates and playing the Republican/Democrat musical chairs game that keeps the status quo of welfare and warfare going, no matter which party sits down in the chairs of power when the political music stops, unless, God forbid, Ron Paul were to win and upset the apple cart and actually shrink the size of their master the almighty state! The statist "mainstream" media will do all in their failing, collapsing power to stop that from happening.

That's why they must promote the Herman Cains and the Mitt Romneys, who will, if elected to replace Obama, shuffle the chairs on deck but otherwise continue to preside over the sinking ship of government as if the state's days were not numbered.

More often these days it's common to find a voter who doesn't identify with the Democrat or Republican parties. And the desire for another choice isn't new.







Interesting that 52% of Republicans (and a whopping 60% of the Tea Party) want a 3rd party, but only a third of Democrats do. I think the reason may be that Democrats are satisfied with the status quo, because no matter which of the two major parties is in power, the trend is in the same direction, with government growing ever larger and more intrusive, especially at the Federal level. And Democrats love big government.



Republicans, on the other hand, while they've cheered on an insane (and insanely expensive) foreign policy since 9/11 (and they may be starting to come to their senses on that) really expect change when they send Republicans to Washington, it's just that they never get it. There is a good chunk of the Republican base that really wants a smaller government, plus a large and growing libertarian element within the party as well. Ron Paul's popularity is part of this rebellion against the Tweedledee vs Tweedledum choice we are given in almost every election.



The misguided part of all of this desire for a different political party, is that politics will not be the ultimate solution to the tyranny of the state.

Radicals and revolutionaries have had their sights trained on politics for some time. As governments fail around the world, as more millions become aware that government never has and never can humanely and effectively manage men's affairs, government's own inadequacy will emerge, at last, as the basis for a truly radical and revolutionary movement. In the meantime, the radical-revolutionary position is a lonely one. It is feared and hated, by both Right and Left — although both Right and Left must borrow from it to survive.

The Two Party Dictatorship

I don't know if I personally agree on all of the listed issues that are supposedly being blocked, though they may indeed have a majority of popular support, just like currently polls showed that a majority are against raising the debt ceiling once again, though of course, the will of the people in our wonderful "democracy" will be ignored.

The parties also collaborate in every way possible to keep their control of the electoral system. They make it difficult for candidates going outside the two parties to get onto the ballot with restrictive laws and procedures, they gerrymander their districts to favor one party or the other, and they do everything they can to make the actual campaigns as expensive as possible. To top it off, the media helps by ignoring non-party candidates or stereotyping challengers.

Second, their rivalries mean that no meaningful, necessary changes can be implemented…

Each party is constantly jockeying for power, positioning themselves for advantage in each upcoming election. Every action is controlled by political expediency.
