Half Of U.S. Workers Make Under $26,000 A Year

The minimum wage is actually lower today than it was in 1967 (adjusted for inflation).





I'm not making a case for minimum wage laws by posting this (not really my point) just observing the reality of the stacked deck against the average American worker. And of course, if Federal Reserve created inflation hadn't destroyed our dollars purchasing power, we'd be 20% ahead on wages at the bottom than we are today even if those wages had stayed at the same literal dollar amount they were at over forty years ago.
