Worthless neocon/neo Trotskyites like Frum, are cooing about how now the stupid radicals from the "tea party" are now chased out of the smoke filled rooms of the GOP oligarchy and how "reasonable" pro-Federal Reserve moderates can now concentrate on making the oligarchy richer with your great-grandchildren's indebtedness.

The hijackers from within the GOP power structure used Fox and other outlets to promote the most retarded religionist delusional morons as "tea party alternatives" helping section off all of the easy sheep-like followers that the neocons depend on...

The left of course was no better, seating the "left" versions of the neocons into the "sane" centrist positions and fielded some of the most disgusting milquetoast leftist-neocon mercantilist whores possible, shocking is that a few of them beat out the "tea party" retards.

Because the typical "left side" bell-curve US voter likes a choice of two buckets of shit, the choice was made for them when several buckets showed up with dead vermin and flies included making the "hold your nose and vote for less evil" more vomits covered than usual.

Congratulations America, we can now get back to our lives watching the ruin of the economy and the inevitable crash into the greatest depression, unabated and unchanged in course. Pray for balkanization it may well be our only workable solution at this point.

Burn Your Ballot

Today is a sacred day in the United States, when millions of fools will think they are participating in choosing their leaders by the religious ritual of voting and thereby give the cover of legitimacy to an evil system. I will be watching the returns tonight, and though here and there will be races where I'll be hoping some scumbag politician is defeated, I won't really be rooting for the opponent, because the corruption is the system itself, it cannot be "reformed".

Below are some things I've taken from posts on the LRC Blog. If you are planning on voting today (or already have by mail-in ballot or early voting), feel free to leave a comment on why you think what you're doing is making any real difference. But if you seriously believe your ONE vote was worth taking any time or effort at all to cast, you're as delusional as a screaming tongues speaker at a faith healing tent show.

Another man who would have been proud of your conscious decision to not vote would have been the late George Boardman, an individualist/libertarian who lived in Chloride, Arizona. Many years ago, he told me of a candidate for county attorney who visited his home seeking George’s vote. George told him that he did not believe in voting, and why. It really troubled this rascal. George asked him why it bothered him so much, as it would mean only that he would garner one less vote. The candidate came back to George’s home on two or three other occasions to discuss this issue, and seemed to be deeply concerned at the thought of one man in his jurisdiction who did not endorse this ritual. When these slugs say “it doesn’t matter who you vote for, just vote,” they mean it. They can live with your choosing one candidate over another; they can even accept that many people will simply not show up at the polls out of laziness or indifference; but they cannot abide the thought that there are some people out there who reject politics out of principle.-source

Well, we did finally get that "downright moron" with the last president. But every presidential election always gives us a downright con man. As for Obama, I think he'll be a one-termer, as in all probability by 2012, the economy will be much, much worse than it is now.

Voting Is Crazy

I won't be voting next week. I haven't even registered to vote since maybe the year 2000, when I thought it really made a difference who was elected to occupy the White House. That fiasco (in every way) was the last straw, and I never could be bothered with the whole rotten thing again. It's funny, because just the other day, a younger version of myself confronted me at work. Poor young, naive bastard. He asked me if I was voting in the upcoming election, and the look of disappointment on his face at my answer was excruciating to look at. I used his question as an opportunity to plant the seeds of liberty and forbidden anti-state ideas, explaining to him that voting was useless and his one vote wouldn't make any difference even if it wasn't. He was shocked by such views, as if I was the crazy one, rather than those who keep going to the polls like robots every two years thinking that this time it's gotta work, it has just gotta, by golly!

I've said before that the modern religion is statism (with the State itself the new god), and its adherents, just as those of supernatural faiths, have their rituals. The most important ritual of the new secular religion is voting, so that the ruling class can claim a "mandate" from the people to continue lording it over them. Since I am an anarchist (the only moral political position) I don't wish to participate in something that gives any cover to the establishment in the form of an election that "legitimizes" their power. The statist "democratic" process only gives the illusion of choice and control, but unlike the crazies that keep getting excited every two or four years over the latest crop of "change" candidates, I want no part in choosing a master to rule over me, especially when it's a choice between Tweedledee and Tweedledum.

Besides, it's like that old saying "what if they gave a war and nobody came?". Well, how about if they held an election and nobody voted. Not likely to happen? No, probably not, but the establishment still isn't happy with non-voters. That's because their legitimacy is threatened if only a minority of the population participates in the farce of voting. Even more so if it's a shrinking minority. So, by not voting, you actually are doing something, something the rulers in Washington and elsewhere can't stand (which puts a smile on my face) and also something that isn't crazy, because unlike voting, it's not doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

The sociopaths called politicians want the power to rule over you, and while you can't stop them at this point from doing so, you can at least refuse to agree that they have that right by not voting for any of them.

These nauseating numbers show federal employees earning 201 percent of the average private worker’s compensation. Federal benefits equal 395 percent of private-sector benefits.

This bloat is bipartisan. While President Obama’s spending spree has exacerbated the inequality of federal vs. private compensation, this problem reaches into the irresponsible Bush-Rove years. Between 2000 and 2009, private salaries and benefits grew by 8.8 percent after inflation. Among federal civilians, however, salaries and benefits exploded by 36.9 percent.(source)

Well, our long national nightmare is over, and I refer to both the endless presidential campaign and the horrors of the Bush administration. If McCain had somehow been able to pull off a victory we would have surely faced at least four more years of war and even "other wars", in McShame's own words. We would have looked forward to continued total disregard of civil liberties and the continued expansion of executive power (which, after all, the right no longer fears as long as a good patriotic Republican is in the oval office fighting those evil terrorists and keeping us safe, you betcha). But the economy, and the unpopular Iraq fiasco, and the weariness with the idiot-in-chief, could lead to no other result than what we witnessed on election night.

This election was a referendum on John McCain's brand of enthusiastic interventionism and his volcanically warlike temperament, and it was a stunning repudiation of both. Iraq, Iran, the wilds of the Caucasus – what was distinctive about the McCainiac foreign policy was the wide range of his potential targets. Al-Qaeda often seemed to take second or even third place on his enemies list, with the Iranians and the Russians taking first and second respectively.

On the issue of civil liberties, the question is, will things improve under an Obama presidency? This is one area where "liberal" judges would be a blessing, so let us hope President Obama appoints a few who stand up for the individual against the awful and terrifying police powers of the state. Lew Rockwell explores these questions in an interview with Judge Andrew Napolitano, an analyst for Fox news and author of A Nation of Sheep.

It's hard to believe that the record could get worse than it was under Bush.

I have, of course, profoundly criticized the Bush administration; the Patriot Act 1 and Patriot Act 2, the new FISA law, these run rampant over basic First Amendment, Fourth Amendment, Fifth Amendment, Sixth Amendment liberties.

I would like to think that President-elect Obama, as a lawyer, as a constitutional scholar, as a professor of law at the University of Chicago (where respect for individual liberties I know is taught in the law school) I hope would have a healthier respect for the Constitution than John McCain would.

Lew: We can certainly hope that things like the Military Commissions Act and all the rest of the horrible tyranny that Bush undertook and that have been repudiated in this election, I mean this election is in fact a defeat of George W. Bush much more so than McCain.


Judge Napolitano: In terms of the Military Commissions Act, that's a good example, because Barak Obama not only voted against it, he argued against it on the floor of the United States Senate. Those powers (of the MCA) are truly dictatorial... which gives the President the power to incarcerate after acquittal. There's no other act, anywhere in the history of western law, in fact I don't even know anything like it the history of law anywhere on the planet, that would allow the prosecuting entity to incarcerate the defendant after the court has found the defendant not guilty. But that Military Commissions Act of '06 does give the President the power to do it.

Of course, Obama will inevitably disappoint, especially those among his most devoted followers.


How could he not, with expectations so high and virtual messiah status conferred upon him. We can hope, but I fear not for much. I did not vote this time, in fact I stopped voting after 2000, when Bush the younger failed to pan out (a more humble foreign policy and all that) but I did root, for as with a football game, it's just more fun that way. Besides, the election of McSame would have rewarded the Republican party, and after all that rotten shell of stinking neocon refuse has done to the country these last eight years, that could not be allowed to happen. And so we enter the age of Obama. Out of the starting gate it does not look too good, with the appointment of Rahm Emanuel as chief of staff.

Emanuel, with Pelosi's blessing, famously blocked antiwar Democrats from running for the House in 2006 (he controlled the money for new candidates). Emanuel is an advocate of endless war in the Middle East. No chickenhawk, during the Gulf War, he volunteered as a civilian worker for the Israeli army. source.

Still, it is going to be a relief after the nightmare of the Bush years. For a few months, anyway.

Racism, Barack Obama, and Two Old Bags for Hillary

Just recently I overheard two older ladies talking about the contest between Hillary and Barack. They were both Clinton supporters and were asking each other how any white person could prefer a black over a white for president. One of them even suggested to the other that Obama was a possible Al Qaeda plant!

I know there is still a lot of racial prejudice among the older generation who grew up in less tolerant times, and they vote in larger numbers. However, it may just be that the excitement that Obama has generated among the young could translate into actual votes this time (younger people historically tend not to go to the polls in large numbers on election day) and that might offset that factor.

I started out this election cycle supporting Ron Paul. Obviously he is going nowhere in the Republican primaries, so I have decided that Obama is our best hope for some real change in American foreign policy and getting us out of Iraq. Even though I consider myself a libertarian, I would be willing to accept things like universal health care in exchange for ending the war and bringing our troops home. I really believe the overriding issue this year is restoring our reputation around the world and ending the American empire. Now, I don't expect any Democrat to actually close all our overseas bases and support a truly noninterventionist foreign policy, not even Obama is going to do that, but at the very least an Obama presidency will end the influence of the war crazed neocons (don't be too sure that a Clinton presidency would do the same). At this point, I don't hope for more than that.

If it finally does come down to Hillary Clinton Vs John McCain, then, as corrupt as I believe the Clintons to be, and as much as I don't want to see them in the White House again, I would have no choice but to root for Hillary. She may be reprehensible in many ways (in my opinion), but McCain is dangerous. He would likely lead us into war with Iran and start us on the path to a new cold war with the Russians. I'll take corrupt over dangerous any day.

Some Democrats hope for a "Dream Team" ticket of Clinton/Obama, and I don't really think it impossible, as Hillary may need Obama as running mate to unify the Democratic party and gain the enthusiasm of his supporters. If she doesn't have the Democratic base, especially African Americans, energized, she can't win. An Obama/Clinton ticket, however, would be less likely, as Obama, for a number of reasons, will probably choose a white male as his running mate

The American public, by all the polling, is fed up with the Iraq fiasco, so we have to hope that that trumps any racism among the electorate this year. If John "100 years in Iraq" McCain is the Republican candidate, that, along with the fact that many conservative Republicans can't stand McCain, may be enough for a Democratic victory.

The Stolen Election and the Criminal in the White House

I am ashamed to admit that I voted for W in 2000. I based my vote then on his claim to want a more humble foreign policy and his statement that he was against "nation building." The subsequent events of the last seven years have revealed a Republican party high-jacked by the neocons and an abandonment of anything that could be called conservative. Good-bye Republican party, you will never earn my vote again (unless Ron Paul is nominated, but you red state fascists are too stupid to nominate the only person running for the office of President who would return us to constitutional liberty). The Democrats aren't much better, even on the war, but the only chance we have to reverse course is to elect one (though please NOT Hillary)! I am currently still supporting Ron Paul and rooting for Obama on the Democratic side.
