Israel - not Iran - is a nuclear power out of control

Israel has branded German poet Günter Grass "persona non grata", amid calls he be stripped of his Nobel Prize. But did Grass really inflame hatred against the Israeli people, or has he fallen victim to the politicization of taste?-http://youtu.be/x83aAme0JQc

Israeli Repression of Palestinian Christians

During the Holy Week, Jerusalem has a special spiritual connection for Christians all around the world as it is the time of the year when pilgrims visit the Old city. However, that period also represents a time of new restrictions for Palestinians, especially for Christian Palestinians who experience a number of obstacles to visit the holiest places that violate their freedom of religion and worshiping.-http://youtu.be/P0y7k8ikbZ8

Document: US Aid To Israel

Israel is the largest cumulative recipient of U.S. foreign assistance since World War II. To date, the United States has provided Israel $115 billion in bilateral assistance. Almost all U.S. aid to Israel is in the form of military assistance, although in the past Israel also received significant economic assistance. Strong Congressional support for Israel has resulted in Israel receiving benefits not available to any other countries...

Ken O'Keefe on what the NDAA will do to America

Khader Adnan had been arrested by Israeli authorities eight times before, but this time it'd gone too far. He was suspected of being an active part of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, which Israel sees as a terrorist group. Adnan was been detained and no charges were filed against him.-http://youtu.be/3TFwkjN3KB8

There will be that many more people around the world who will see what Israel really is, a truly rogue state that is threatening the safety and security of all people on this planet not just the Palestinians, saber rattling with Iran, tempting a third world war and potential nuclear armageddon, this is the state of Israel-Ken O'Keefe

The social media efforts which recently brought global attention to Palestinian nonviolent resistance (Khader Adnan) and to the impact of Israeli occupation on Palestinian intimate and family relationships (Love Under Apartheid) did not do so by chance. Neither effort could have succeeded without a sound understanding of several key social media concepts. -Social Media Principles Behind the Khader Adnan and Love Under Apartheid Campaigns

Khader Adnan will reportedly be released in April, assuming no new evidence is introduced to uphold the assessment that he is a high-risk threat as a member of Islamic Jihad. He has ended his hunger strike after his lawyers and the High Court of Justice worked out this arrangement.

Adnan's case, as numerous commentators rightly note, has drawn attention to Israel's practice of administrative detention. But by promising to release Adnan, the Israeli government headed off what could have been an embarrassing political and legal debacle.-Why Israel freed Khader Adnan

US Senate Betrays American People, Stands Behind Foreign Power

With much of the US Senate backing Israel and Prime Minister Netanyahu, are lawmakers more concerned with problems in the Middle East than in the US? Counter Punch Editor Alexander Cockburn says that Congress is "Israeli occupied territory" despite the government's attempts to appear impartial.

Israel On The Wrong Side Of History

Of all the memorable phrases uttered by Barack Obama in the last two years, the one that stuck in my mind more than any other appeared in his historic speech in Cairo in the early days of his term.

He warned the nations not to place themselves "on the wrong side of history." It seems that the Arab nations took heed of this advice more than he might have anticipated and have jumped from the wrong to the right side of history. Our government, however, is moving in the opposite direction. It is determined, so it seems, to get as far away from the right side as possible. This week, a fascinating telephone conversation took place. On the one end was Israeli Prime Minster Benjamin Netanyahu, on the other German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Netanyahu called to rebuke Merkel for Germany's vote in favor of the Security Council resolution condemning the settlements — the resolution blocked by the scandalous US veto. He expressed his annoyance about Germany daring to vote against the "Jewish state."

He was shocked by the answer. Merkel told him that he had broken all his promises, that no one of the world's leaders believes a single word of his any more. She demanded that he make peace with the Palestinians. This conversation is a symptom of an ongoing process — the slow but steady deterioration in Israel's international standing. Yes, Israel's standing in the world is indeed sinking continuously, but not because of a worldwide plot uniting "anti-Semites" and "self-hating Jews." We are sinking, because we are on the wrong side of history.

Israel has maintained for decades a regime of occupation. It continues to control and humiliate another people. Ideologically and practically, it lives in the mental world of the 19th century, while the rest of the world is starting to live in the 21st.

Israel Leader Wants to Deport African Immigrants, Then Build Wall

The state of Israel is founded on racism and religious discrimination and yet wants to pretend that it numbers among the truly democratic nations of the world.

One foreign worker said he would rather die than be returned to Africa and that the proposal meant Israel would sell the migrants to African nations.

"This isn't the first time that the idea of deporting the migrant laborers has been raised," sources close to the prime minister were quoted...as saying.

In August, the Israeli parliament approved the deportation of 400 children and their families whom Netanyahu likewise considered a "tangible threat" to Israel.-Israel slammed for 'human trafficking'

Netanyahu claims that these immigrants threaten the "Jewish and democratic character of Israel", but, it can't be both of those that are "threatened". If Israel resembled any kind of "democratic" country, it could and would not discriminate on the basis of "Jewishness", nor have a policy of maintaining a "Jewish character". No semblance of sanity will return to that region until the state of Israel is dissolved and abolished. Israel was founded on an evil principle, and only evil can continue to come from it unless or until that foundation is altered.

And the whole idea that Jews needed a safe haven of their very own after the horror of the holocaust, even if true, certainly was not provided by sticking a Jewish state in the middle of millions of Arabs. It's absurd. Would you feel safer as a Jew in the United States or Israel? Hell, they should just move the whole damn country to somewhere in North America (maybe Canada can spare some land) and be done with it. Its existence as a specifically "Jewish" state would still be something to lament, but at least the rest of the world could enjoy a little more peaceful world, and have less lobbying on behalf of the U.S. Military invading Islamic countries and killing hundreds of thousands of innocents.

Arabs face discrimination in Israel

Discrimination faced by Palestinians living within Israel's borders remains one of the key sticking points in Middle East peace talks.

Umm al-Fahm is a town made up almost entirely of Palestinian Israelis - those who found themselves within the new border when Israel was created in 1948.

Israel's declaration of independence, the equivalent of a constitution, states that all citizens are equal but the one-fifth of the population who are Palestinian, believe they are less equal than others.

IAEA and Israel's Nuclear Weapons

The US ambassador to the IAEA, Glyn Davies, has urged Arab states to withdraw a resolution calling on Israel to join the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

Davies warns that the resolution could have a negative impact on the US-backed talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority (PA).

The European Union joined the United States in arguing at an International Atomic Energy Agency meeting that zeroing in on the Jewish state would jeopardize a proposed conference in 2012 on the creation of a Middle East free of weapons of mass destruction.

Meanwhile, politicians, lobbyists, and propagandists have spent nearly two decades pushing the lie that Iran poses a nuclear weapons threat to the United States and Israel.

Jewish Groups Push US to Attack Iran

Secret files declassified in America have revealed covert public relations and lobbying activities by Israel. The National Archive made the documents public following a Senate investigation. Alison Weir of the Council for National Interest in the U.S. - a pressure group on Middle East policy - believes Israeli influence is corrupting the American media, which no longer represents the views of the country's people...

Council for the National Interest

High level former U.S. intelligence officers, including CNI Executive Director Philip Giraldi, have just published an analysis warning that Israel may plan to attack Iran as early as this month

We write to alert you to the likelihood that Israel will attack Iran as early as this month. This would likely lead to a wider war. Israel’s leaders would calculate that once the battle is joined, it will be politically untenable for you to give anything less than unstinting support to Israel, no matter how the war started, and that U.S. troops and weaponry would flow freely. Wider war could eventually result in destruction of the state of Israel. This can be stopped, but only if you move quickly to preempt an Israeli attack by publicly condemning such a move before it happens.-Former Intelligence Officers warn Israel may attack Iran this month and drag US into another war; discuss ways to stop it
