Ed Feser vs Arif Ahmed: Proofs of the Existence of God

Ed Feser is a Catholic philosopher whose latest book ‘Five Proofs of the Existence of God’ presents five classical arguments that he believes present compelling evidence for theism.

He debates two of the arguments on the show with atheist Cambridge philosopher Arif Ahmed. They talk about whether modern atheists take such arguments seriously, and then dive deep into debating the Aristotelian Proof and the Rationalist Proof…

Michael Price on Atheism and Objective Morality

Bizarrely, many atheists are bothered by the idea of objective or absolute morality. They seem to feel that it means judgmental, intolerant, sexually repressive morality as represented by the Abrahamic religions. Similarly the representatives of said religions seem to believe that their dogmas are objective morality and indeed the only possible source of objective morality. This is the opposite of the truth, objective morality does not need to be based on, and indeed cannot be based on, the Abrahamic religions.-Read more: Objective morals and it's opposite, religion

Dear Christian Apologist, Hitler Can't Help You

When Hitler is called in to support the Christian moral argument for God, the truth comes out: it's all simply projection.

John W. Loftus is so disgusted with the atheist "movement" he went to church and enjoyed it!

Today my wife and I attended a Unitarian Universalist church and we loved it. I am tired of people on both sides of the fence trying to pigeon hole me, trying to ostracize those who differ, trying to make people take sides on the most minute of details. While I differ with this Unitarian church group on issues concerning faith and spirituality I'll take their acceptance and desire for dialogue any day over the PZ Myers types.- There Is a War Going On At Freethought Blogs! The Impossible Game

The impossible game is the hunt for gods — each path in the game represents a particular proposed god/groups of gods. The paths are not 'life paths' or 'world views'. The goal of the game has nothing to do with being a good person, or finding personal fulfillment, or any number of other relativistic enterprises. The goal is very specific: to find a god/gods that exists.

You will hear claim after claim on whatever path you choose. You can play for years — but will you actually find any gods? Up to you whether you wish to play the impossible game.

The Sunday Jesus: Christian Atheism?

Jesus, although not seen as divine, is still a central feature of Christian atheism. Most Christian atheists think of Jesus as a wise and good man, accepting his moral teachings but rejecting the idea of his divinity.-Wikipedia

Most Christians might as well be atheists, cause they don't really believe any of it, and if they say they do, then their actions deny it completely.

Oh, and welcome back, Sunday Jesus post! You've been missed here at SE.

Jesus, I have a question for you (and I hope you'll leave a comment here, thus proving your existence): How come all of your followers aren't on the same page? I thought you were going to give them the Holy Spirit so they would know all truth and not have to just guess what the hell you were talking about. Well?

Christians, please bring something to the table!

Please bring something other than faith for review, disregarding the Old Testament is not helping.
