Christians and Trump

I have seen some conservative Christian critiques of Trump. I actually agree with most of what they say. I think most of Trump’s proposals are terrible. However, he is certainly better on foreign policy than any other Republican candidate (or Democrat), including the ones who have dropped out.

The problem with most of these Trump critiques is that they 1. presuppose that Christians should waste their time voting in the first place and 2. recommend Ted Cruz the bloodthirsty warmonger. I recommend neither. I think that many conservatives have voted, and will vote, for Trump because it is the best way they know of to give the middle finger to the evil GOP. - Laurence M. Vance

Perhaps that's why Trump has done so well with Evangelicals.
